What would I put into a search bar if I want to find Transcripts/Scripts of Japanese programing?

Question

I want to watch original Japanese TV shows/movies/anime with Japanese Language subtitles. My main problem is that I can't seem to figure out the right Japanese word/kanji for transcript... I've been mostly groping about in the "Dark" with the help of rikai-chan, but I need some help. lol.

Also maybe if I could get help with what I should put to search for children's stories (Print stories with audio) that would be a great help. :) I've always been a strong reader in English and when I get a chance to read and have a story read to me I tend to pick up alot of new vocab... I'd love to find something a little simpler than Natsume Souseki to listen to, lol.

Also, if anyone happens to know a site I can use for either of these then ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU!!! m_(___)_m Honto ni kanshashiteimasu!!!!! (Forgive my lack of real japanese input on this computer! >.<)

There aren't many Japanese movies' or TV shows' DVDs that has Japanese subtitles, let alone free srt files for Japanese movies.

But there are some.

Here's a list of DVDs that has Japanese subtitles.

And according to this site, you can watch some movies with a Japanese subtitle that has no subtitles in DVD.

I have no idea how it works, though.

It seems you have to register the site first.



As for search keywords, I suggest following words to look up transcript/subtitles for Japanese movie/TV shows/anime.

"日本語字幕 邦画" or "日本語字幕 聾唖者" or "日本語字幕 聴覚障害者"



For children's stories, try "絵本　朗読".

"朗読 mp3" also would be good for some free audio books.
